IDADA's mission is to represent local Indianapolis and Indiana artists on their turf to the audience visiting for the Super Bowl, another event that takes place on turf, played by teams who will be representing their own hometown turf. IDADA envisions the Art Pavilion as the launching point of Turf, which aims to drive visitors from the pavilion to various IDADA-member galleries/museums in a 20-square-block area of downtown Indianapolis. Turf will culminate with the Feb. 3 "First Friday" gallery tour, making it a highlight of the citywide series of events Super Bowl weekend.
The Alkis Keramidas Museum of Art is one of the local museums featured in the First Friday Art Tour.
